Tourism in Tanzania

When we think about going on a vacation to Tanzania, it is normally the well-known Mt. Kilimanjaro, Serengeti, the spice Island of Zanzibar, or the Ngorongoro Crater that comes into our mind. This is for the reason that maybe other vacationer destinations such as Tanga have remained modest and have barely been out in the open to the outside world.

For travelers and vacationers the Region of Tanga is yet an additional location in Tanzania which is decked by impressive environment, eye – catching scenery, unique culture and appreciative people. Sun soaked beaches, fudging the enchanted Indian Ocean, going up mountains of the great Usambaras, murmuring rivers and lush green flora add to the splendor of the region that has barely appeared on the tourists map of Tanzania.

The Tanga region has an enriched past which opens up real and exciting stories of explorers like Vasco da Gama, Arab and Indian settlements, the arrival of the Germans settlers and at last the British rule.

Tanga has four main locations reserved for tourism. The city is rich in times gone by, has beautiful natural attractions, many old architecture and appealing marine activities. South of the Tanga City lies a significant trading centre of the 19th century Pangani. Pangani boasts of some of the most stunning beaches untainted in the nation and is an exceptional beach holiday destination. To the more south is the lesser recognized Saadani Game Reserve now Saadani National Park with Beach and untamed animals.
